Jesse and The Wolf is a new project from beloved New York DJ/producer <a href="spotify:artist:7vtCYcDr92zNNKMX0lu3Wd" data-name="Jesse Marco">Jesse Marco</a>. He's traveled the world as an in-demand club fixture, but JATW is something different: the sound of a young creative searching for musical freedom and new challenges.
In January 2018, JATW released it’s debut mixtape “Free Love,” with Fool’s Gold Records. Met with immediate and broad acclaim, “Free Love” drew on inspirations from all genres and ages of music. A true DJ-record, it has been lauded by peers for its feel-good vibes and experimental risks.
In February, JATW followed up with the single “Selecta” featuring Ghostface Killah, Juelz Santana, and Telli. A breakbeat-driven burst of New York energy, “Selecta” won praise across the electronic and hip-hop landscapes garnering support from A-Trak, The Knocks, Anna Lunoe, GTA, and Beats 1, Sirius XM airplay, and BBC radio 1.
With early success, JATW has a slew of dynamic releases slated for 2018. While Jesse and The Wolf’s music will continue to be influenced by a breadth of genres, musical freedom, and diversity, it remains grounded in unity, happiness, change, and made for the people that celebrate those qualities.
