Jessica Mechell

Emerging from Jacksonville, Florida, Christian Hip Hop & Gospel songwriter/recording artist, Jessica Mechell began hitting the ground running in the music realm in 2016, and has since manifested into a versatile and multifaceted artist with her own signature sound and stylization. Known for her charismatic vocal delivery and spiritual lyrical content, Jessica’s music touches on equal parts originality and familiarity; solidifying a form of Hip Hop & Gospel sensibilities that showcases her stage presence and songwriting in the most effective ways.


Building her craft over many years, Jessica’s musicianship is also reminiscent of many artist influences including Missy Elliot, Lauryn Hill, Mary Mary, as well as several genre influences that range from Soul, Pop, Old School, and Vibe. She garnered a strong street buzz and internet presence after the release of her debut EP “Agape Love”. Her upcoming anticipated new single “Feel Good" is slated for release later this fall and will be following up with her second EP, "On Purpose".
