Jessica Smucker

Jessica Smucker is a singer-songwriter and poet based in Lancaster, PA. She has performed all over the U.S. and won several national songwriting contests including the Connecticut Folk Festival Song Competition (2013) and SolarFest's Singer/Songwriter Showcase Competition (2010). She has opened for notable acts like Cheryl Wheeler and Bill Staines, co-billed with Meghan Trainor, The Stray Birds and Heather Maloney, and shared festival stages with Patty Larkin, Catie Curtis, Dar Williams, David Wilcox, Antje Duvekot, Susan Werner, and others.

Her second full-length album, Tumbling After, released in September 2014, received radio airplay in 25 states, debuted at Number One on The Roots Music Report's Weekly Top 50 Easy Listening Album Chart and reached #11 on The Roots Music Report's Weekly Top 50 Pennsylvania Album Chart. Her third full-length collection, Lucid Stories, Tentative Lies, dropped on October 16, 2020, followed by a Christmas single, "Let's Get a Tree," in December. In the summer of 2021, Jessica released an irrepressibly catchy slice of synth pop called "Dinosaurs," followed by "Rose of Jericho" that fall. By the end of 2022, she will have released 4 more singles towards a full-length album, After the Meteor, that will drop in the first half of 2023.
