Violinist, cellist, vocalist, recording artist and composer, Jessy Greene, has toured and recorded extensively with the Foo Fighters and P!nk, was a member of the Geraldine Fibbers and The Jayhawks and has recorded string arrangements for Wilco, Glen Campbell, Ben Harper, RZA, Rita Ora, Post Malone and many more. In addition her songs, compositions and solo violin performances are featured in films such as Sound City with Dave Grohl and Beautiful Creatures with Dahni Harrison and TV shows such as CW’s The Originals, Pretty Little Liars, Stargirl Series, Fox’s Bones and ABC’s The Fosters.
Jessy has a degree in ethnomusicology from UCLA and has been studying sound and healing frequencies for many years. Her approach to creating music focuses on positive vibrations and high frequencies. She is in the process of recording and performing improvisational, live looping compositions of healing frequencies with her violin and voice. Her collaborations with long time musical partner, Rami Jaffee, has developing a unique sound born in their love for the healing powers of music and fine tuned over the many years touring with bands together and experiencing the intensity of life on and off the road. Jessy is also currently collaborating with some of her favorite artists for song writing, composing and recording string sections.
