Jett Harlow was born Daemon Harlow Whitaker on April 9, 1987, in the quiet town of Ashburn, Virginia. He grew up in the passenger seat of long-haul trucks, listening to classic rock stations and scribbling lyrics on diner napkins and gas station receipts — turning silence into choruses.
Before fronting the band that now bears his name, Jett worked as a trucker, hauling freight along the Boston–Ottawa–Montreal route. Between deliveries, he’d hit the bars in Boston, playing late-night sets to small but loyal crowds. His songs, raw and vulnerable, told stories of road life, loss, and the kind of redemption that only comes through scars.
During those years, Jett found himself trapped in a toxic relationship marked by emotional violence and blame. He was accused of killing her dreams. The wounds turned physical. One night, she pulled a gun and fired. He survived. The relationship didn’t.
Out of that chaos, a spark: he met the musicians who would become the heartbeat of Jett Harlow.
Born behind the curtains of city life and shaped by stormy hearts and sleepless nights, Jett Harlow turns pain into melody and scars into soundtracks.
Blending the grit of blues-rock with the emotional weight of modern alt-rock, his songs hit like scenes from a film — where every chorus feels like a confession and every verse, a memory that still stings.
Now based in Boston, Jett doesn’t just make music — he tells stories for people who feel too much.
