Jeyênne was born in Italy and eventually made his way to Berlin. He is a singer, songwriter, producer, and performer who works fluently in both English and German - in the studio, on stage, and behind the decks. His creative work spans recording, producing, songwriting, DJing, and live performance. His musical roots stretch from Catholic church organ to electro-punk. Later, he was shaped by the dark wave of the late '80s, the rave movement of the '90s, and the rise of industrial techno in the 2000s.
Throughout the '90s, he played countless underground raves, performing regularly alongside The Prodigy & Moby during their 1995 tour through Germany. His track "Das Nippel" was on rotation on Viva and MTV, while Front 242 contributed a remix to his single "Darkness - Mayday 1995." More raves followed - until in 1998, he founded XPQ-21, his Industrial EBM project, along with his own label.
For the next 10 years, he toured extensively across Europe & the US. At the height of his success, Jeyênne made the bold move to step away from the stage and founded the EMS - Electronic Music School in Germany, with locations in Berlin & Cologne (www.em-school.com).
He never stopped working on music, refining his sound design, production, and his unmistakable artistic voice. In 2019, he released a new remix under the Jeyênne name via one of the EMS labels, followed by an XPQ-21 remix in 2020.
In 2025, the long-awaited new album by XPQ-21 will finally be released, produced & created by Jeyênne.
