Born from friendship, faith, and creative instinct, JFT is an Afrofusion duo whose journey began long before music became the plan. Having attended the same secondary school, the two artists shared a love for music without ever imagining it would evolve into a professional pursuit or a duo. Though life led them down different paths, they never truly lost touch.
Years later, music reignited their bond when JFT Reginald shared a cover of Justin Bieber’s Purpose and JFT Poundz Zterlin released a single of his own. That moment of creative alignment gave birth to their first collaboration, Can’t Kill My Vibe, a defining track that marked the beginning of JFT as a group.
Their sound is a worldly expression of Afrofusion, blending diverse genres and influences into music that is fluid, expressive, and constantly evolving. With releases such as 24 Shots, Rasta Lovin, Red Light, Ginger, Zombie, Feeling Irie, and Oouuuu, the duo continues to refine a sound that reflects both unity and individuality.
Even as one member relocated back to London and the other remained in Ghana, distance never became a barrier. Navigating time zones and borders, JFT continues to create music together, often through video calls, proving that their connection and creative vision transcend geography. The name JFT comes from a phrase the duo lives by, Jah Fix Thingz, meaning God will make things right. It represents their faith, resilience, and belief that purpose will always find its way through the music.
