Drummer, producer and songwriter Jharis Yokley is an explosive force of nature whose work spans the hip-hop, jazz, R&B and rock scenes. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Yokley graduated from the prestigious Berklee College, studying under jazz greats Terri Lynne Carrington and Danilo Pérez. He quickly became an in demand drummer after landing in Brooklyn, and performs with artists such as Solange, Chance the Rapper, Ani DiFranco, Sleigh Bells, José James and DJ Premier.
Yokley’s viral drum videos have garnered worldwide appeal and nods from fellow drum greats including Questlove, Tony Royster Jr. and Jason McGerr. He is endorsed by Ludwig, Meinl and Vic Firth.
