Jeremiah Yusuf (Jhay Wonder) is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who grew up in Bauchi State, Nigeria. Raised in a musically inclined environment, his earliest relationship with sound was formed in the church choir, where he developed vocal control, harmony, and emotional delivery from a young age.

In 2017, Jhay Wonder began his transition from choir-led performances into recorded music, channeling spirituality, lived experience, and personal reflection into a sound that blends Afro-fusion and contemporary Afropop.
