Jidé Kuti is a musical storyteller who prides himself on his warmth, authenticity and unique lyrics. The singer/songwriter describes his music as a mix of pop, soul and folk inspired by the likes of Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, Jensen McRae and Olivia Dean. As his music is heavily informed by the stories he holds dear, there is a lot of inspiration from anime, Disney and other fictional worlds.

As a seasoned performer, Jidé knows how to put on a show that will captivate and steal the hearts of even the most unsuspecting audiences. Starting off a busker, he has gone on to play prestigious venues such as The Ned London, Westminster Abbey and The Roundhouse to name a few.

His debut EP, ‘The Open Heart’, is described as the perfect soundtrack for daily living and long journeys. Touching on the themes of mental health, love and introspection, the EP was made to fit into people’s lives seamlessly and naturally.

With his second EP currently in progress, it is exciting time for Jidé and his newly dubbed "Kuties".
