Jill Peacock

Jill Peacock is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist. She is currently releasing songs from her upcoming fourth independent album. This marks a new psychedelic soul sound for Jill with more a playful, experimental, light hearted approach to her soulful sound.
This is a contrast to her previous album ‘Inner Wilderness,’ a stripped back solo work, recorded in only one session and was featured on <a href="spotify:playlist:5X8lN5fZSrLnXzFtDEUwb9" data-name="NPR Music's New Music Friday">NPR Music's New Music Friday</a>.
Previously, Jills self titled debut album was released on the Toronto label DoRight and was featured on Here and Now (CBC) and <a href="spotify:artist:4fH73bVIwM24QrBqjTrhAA" data-name="Gilles Peterson">Gilles Peterson</a> ‘s show (BBC). Jill's writing has influences of UK Soul and Trip Hop, taking cues from artists like <a href="spotify:artist:1VmTG1NmumTwTIOGbew6gH" data-name="Esthero">Esthero</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6liAMWkVf5LH7YR9yfFy1Y" data-name="Portishead">Portishead</a> .
