Jimmy Harris, an established artist from Kansas City, is a well versed guitar
player with naturally obtained talents from his family’s musical background. He
discovered his passion for music at the age of six and began performing in clubs at
twelve years old. By seventeen, he was the lead singer of his band, honing his
versatility as a musician.
Influenced by legends like Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and
Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmy infuses their essence into his new songs, co-written
with Nashville's top songwriters.
Harris has teamed up with Nashville veteran producers Matt Rovey (Alan Jackson, Zac Brown, Uncle Kracker, Billy Currington, etc.) and Warren Rhoades (Chief Engineer at Sound Stage Studio, Fantasy Studios).
Also the current owner of Willie Nelson’s famed “Honeysuckle Rose II” tour bus ,while on tour and visiting radio stations, Jimmy makes use of his bus as VIP experiences for fans to step inside a historical time machine and hear Jimmy play a few songs acoustically.
As Jimmy continues to play clubs and visit radio stations in the Midwest, Jimmy’s first single “When Luck Changes” releases 10/6/23; leading into more singles, EPs and album.
