Juamllee Jimmy Orisme (born February 13, 1993), known professionally as Jimmy Jay, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter of Haitian decent from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 2018 released his debut Single, Working All Day. In 2020, he signed a record deal with Lifestyle Records Entertainment and released his second single, She Bossy.
Discussing how he developed his sing-song style, Jimmy said; "Growing up, I always had this high-pitched voice. Being in the choir at the age of 5-7 made me want to be a part of music entertainment for the rest of my life. Mostly Influenced by Church; along-side Hosting events and other talents, rapping and singing inspired me more. In my younger childhood days, I was more influenced and grew up listening to the likes of: Michael Jackson, Tupac Shakur, Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Lil Boosie, T Pain, Hot Boys, T.I., Young Jeezy, Fabolous Notorious BIG , Trick Daddy, Rick Ross, UGK, Outkast & Usher along with other south florida rappers. I knew how to sing & rap, and I used to write my verses. And if it didn't sound right when I rap it, I sing it. And it'd sound better. I used to let all my friends hear it, and they were like, 'I like that.' I just ran with it. If I can't rap it, I sing it."re wouldn't be a success story, so for every testimony there is always a trial." - Jimmy Jay
