He refuses to use them, stating that they “Suck the life out of music and rob it of its human feel.” He goes on to say ‘I don’t want a computer to songs my songs for me and set my tempo. I want humans to do that. Can you imagine a computer singing for Karen Carpenter or Steve Perry?’
