Jimmy Riggs is a singer songwriter and multitalented musician. Born and raised in the small farming town of Ida, Michigan, Jimmy started developing his raw musical talents at age nine where he sang and played piano at church. He began playing guitar at thirteen and by the time he was nineteen Jimmy had written and composed his first song. Performing at backyard parties for family and friends over the next several years Jimmy decided to move to California to pursue his dream in music. Not long after moving to the Central Coast, Jimmy took a trip to Hollywood to record his album. The Album includes 11 songs and is a mix of Rock, R&B, Country and Soul influenced styles that were all written and sung by Jimmy Riggs. Jimmy had the opportunity to record his album with some of Hollywood's most respected and established talents. The list of contributing artist on the album includes producer of the album Warren Huart, Grammy Award winning Engineer Phil Allen, Drummer Blair Sinta , Bassist Jon Button, Jeff Babko on Keyboards and the legendary Tim Pierce on lead guitar. After the album was released Jimmy went on to perform at a number of LA's most famous stages including the Viper Room, House Of Blues, and Whiskey A Go Go. The following year Pozo Saloon held a competition on their Facebook page to see who the locals want to open up for Darius Rucker and Eli Young Band, and Jimmy was voted by his fans to open up for the two mainstream country artists at the Pozo Saloon June of 2014.
