Rosso's debut album , '32.32' explored themes of isolation, fear and a yearning for a safe place to call ‘Home’. The album, championed upon release by several DJs on BBC 6 Music also received widespread critical acclaim.
Having led 2021 with a brand new single release, ‘Incontinent’ taken from the follow-up album, ’40.40’. The full Jimmy Rosso album presents 10 original tracks, released on the Island Farm Studio record label. The release also spawned further single releases including, ‘Elegy For Mingus’ and ‘Greta’. Rosso responds to a far more personal approach to his songwriting in the ‘40.40’ album, with notions of family, love and loss at its core in the crazy times we are all living through.
