Jimmy V has been releasing underground house records for many years gaining notoriety and support from Sam Divine and Fisher to Claude VonStroke, Riva Starr and Blond-ish, adding thousands of streams of his tracks.
He enjoyed early success with an explosive debut EP "No Way Back”. The follow up, a unique remix of "Rebel" by Della Zouch and a highly respected standout track "Lose My Mind” featuring English singer Liz Cass . San Francisco imprint Smoke n Mirrors came calling and signed “Sam” with Jimmy V joining a star roster that included Pillowtalk, Maxxi Soundsystem and Shiny Objects. He then co-produced releases “Amasonica” and “Yukongo” with Chevy that’s seen them build a wider reputation achieving a Top 40 on TraxSource and Top 20 in the Tech House Beatport Charts as well as support by Defected in key playlists and radio shows with Sam Divine even closing a key summer show with “Amazonica”. British DJ and producer Jimmy V has been somewhat of a “DJ’s” DJ for some time, earning his stripes and playing at parties, clubs and festivals all over the UK and America with his deeply well-informed musical methodology over many years. Starting out playing in the clubs and bars of the Bristol scene, he progressed to immerse himself in the London underground as a regular on the scene. A regular also at prestigious festival gigs like Disco Knights at Burning Man and the Rabbit Hole at Glastonbury.
Chevy One is an award-winning music producer/writer based in north London since 2001.
