Word of the project arrived in late 2011 as their track "Rhymin Slang" was previewed on the Web. In 2012, the final version of the track, remixed by <a href="spotify:artist:3HJIB8sYPyxrFGuwvKXSLR">TV on the Radio</a>'s Dave Sitek, landed on the <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Lex%22">Lex</a> label's tenth anniversary compilation Complex, Vol. 1. The group's debut album, Keys to the Kuffs, landed on the label later in the year, featuring guest appearances from <a href="spotify:artist:7MhMgCo0Bl0Kukl93PZbYS">Blur</a>'s <a href="spotify:artist:0O98jlCaPzvsoei6U5jfEL">Damon Albarn</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6liAMWkVf5LH7YR9yfFy1Y">Portishead</a>'s <a href="spotify:artist:6Lt6KFXX3P0v6vfrynQAMo">Beth Gibbons</a>. ~ David Jeffries, Rovi
