Jesu Pinckney AKA “J.J. Wølfe”
Is a 22 year-old recording artist from
Ithaca, New York He’s been doing music ever since he could remember.
His uncle Mbusi is a musician, his father was a musician so it drove him to do music.
Not only did his music become a gateway for him it became a passion.
He often describes how it saved his life.
He is a very versatile artist who does a lot of genres ranging from R&B to rap to sometimes even experimental alternative or punk rock.
His grandmother taught him how to sing when he was younger, even put him into a choir at a local church.
He also learned how to play the clarinet there and the piano.
During his time in the choir was where his love for singing, Gospel and R&B came in.
His love for rap came from his dad when he showed him a lot of people such as; Busta Rhymes, Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Method Man, Redman, DMX and a lot of other Hip-Hop legends.
But with his age being younger than his music taste, he also got into other rappers such as; Meek Mill, Drake and Lil Wayne.
During his younger years of listening to hip-hop music he fell in love with the style.
He learned how to self engineer when he was about 16, which is approximately three years after he started officially recording in studio.
He always want to be better.
He always want to push himself to be more than the he was yesterday.
