J.L. Todd wrote her first song when she was eleven and has been writing ever since. Favoring novels, J also writes songs, poems, short stories, creates music videos, and plans on someday writing several screenplays and creating a video game accompanying her Young Adult fantasy series. When she was 14, she created an album containing songs she wrote entirely by her self because she thought it would be fun. She finished the first draft of her first book when she was 16, and had since written drafts of two other books and a collection of LGBTQ+ short stories.
