Jo Raharison is a songwriter, producer, and singer of Malagasy origin, currently based in Brussels. Inspired by a diverse range of sounds and the American R&B legends that shape his music, Jo creates infectious pop, blending R&B and hip-hop influences. His journey began with a love for melodies and classical music, honed at the Toulouse Conservatory, and later solidified in Paris, where he collaborated with other artists and discovered his passion for analog synthesizers and drum machines.
In early 2021, he released his debut EP, ‘An Introduction to Jo Raharison,’ followed by ‘Nightfall’ in 2022, showcasing his DIY R&B style with contagious pop melodies. Recently, he has forged connections with artists from the Belgian music scene, such as Leo Fifty Five, Adam La Nuit, Aprile, and Naomi Aguilera. Jo, with his unwavering work ethic, continues to craft new tracks and pursue his artistic vision.
