Joan Baez is a musician, guitar player, composer, singer and producer from Bogotá-Colombia. Currently he is releasing his new album "The City Of Sounds".
The music of Joan Baez is the result of putting in the same brain music of Dave Grohl, Steven Wilson, Dream Theater, Opeth, Hans Zimmer and Igor Stravinsky, among others. Although it seems strange, thinking about the process of creation, this is one of the best things that could have happened to a Colombian musician, this because, as a country, the folk music of Colombia is one of the richest and most marvelous. So that being said, the diversity and exposure to multiple music is what makes the result an interesting progressive rock loaded with the power of Foo Fighters rocking and the impressive Dream Theater technique.
