Joanna and Co. was first formed in 2006 when Joanna Renisa was discovered on a local radio station, XfreshFM by local producers Bard Muffins and Allahyarham Arab (Syed Azlan Syed Abu Bakar). The band members changed through out time but the disco pop vibes that the band has been playing since its birth remains the same.
This independent band aims to champion women in the music industry as it has encouraged the new generation female artistes to keep on rocking.
