Cultivating a presence that transcends genres and integrates a multitude of meanings is no small feat. The words ‘pop music’ are as complex as they are frequently used. It is within this complexity that Melbourne based, New Zealand born pop / EDM multi-dimensional artist Joanna Jones lives and creates on a day to day basis.

Drawing on her vast and unique life experiences including performing for world leaders, soaking up the colourful and eclectic culture in Asia (where she lived for 5 years), moving her entire life from New Zealand to Australia, fronting bands of different genres and finding her own in the world of Jazz - Joanna Jones draws on every inspiration to develop her multi-faceted project.

Joanna’s music is highlighted by it’s intricate design, expertly blended with profound lyricism and powerful vocal capacity. Enriched melody and tone can be heard throughout her catalogue, including her recently released single titled Cross Your Mind (released May 8th 2020) and her soon-to-be released two-part singles Disaster (31st of July 2020) and Step Outside ( 11th of September 2020) over the coming months.

2020 is set to be an immense development year for Joanna Jones with the release of a further 4 singles over the coming months, followed by her forthcoming, debut EP in February 2021. Utilising her pop sensibilities and eye-catching visual content, Joanna Jones is one to watch.
