João Mestre

After several collaborations as a composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer, João Mestre presents his instrumental compositions to the world. Inspired by his emotions, he explores and mixes the sound of classical orchestra instruments with modern electronic sounds, placing in each of his works an intimate piece of himself.


In 2020 he presented Noite , his first project as a composer, through which he expresses in a musical, literary and photographic way, the intertwining of feelings that fills us as we go through a dark and uncertain phase of our existence.


Through poetry (by João de Deus), music and dance, in 2021 he joined Pedro (Reflect) and Laura Abel, composing the musical basis for the show A Terra Onde Se Nasce, involving himself in a multidisciplinary atmosphere, based on landscapes whose history extends beyond the horizon.


In the year 2022, he presents Outono, a book and a soundtrack about moments and memories of a journey in search of a balance between the most positive and the most negative side of being. This is a story of first great loves and passions but also about the pain and sadness of forever losing someone you love. The words on paper and the piano keys tell a story where beauty and sadness intertwine in a unique and intense way.
