Jodi Melendez (p/k/a Jodi) was born in Manhattan, New York and raised in The Bronx. She grew up being inspired by artists like Alicia Keys, Selena and Mariah Carey. Jodi started singing on stage at the age of four years old in school performances and she absolutely loved it. Throughout the years Jodi continued to write and perform her original music and worked on her style that became soulful R&B with a Spanish twist. Jodi works as a wedding singer and also performs in cover bands all over the city such as "Cafe Wha". Jodi is currently working on her album recording new music as an independent artist. Jodi released her first single as an independent artist in 2017 of a song called "What I Know" on all digital music platforms. Jodi is releasing her new single "XTC" on February 14, 2018 along with a music video.
