CCM singer and songwriter Jody McBrayer was a member of the groups Truth and Avalon. During almost 11 years with the latter, the Florida native had a hand in four gold-certified albums, won several Dove Awards, and was nominated for three Grammys. He also released a pop-oriented CCM solo album, This Is Who I Am, on the Sparrow label in 2002. Diagnosed with a heart disorder, McBrayer left the industry in 2007 but was drawn back into action a few years later with Benny Hinn Ministries. McBrayer toured extensively with BHM, then went on to record a second solo album, Keep Breathing, issued in 2016 on Stowtown. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
