Joe Astley

Joe Astley is a professional singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer from Wigan heard on BBC Introducing, Radio X and XS Manchester, who described his unique songwriting style and sound as "Springsteen meets the Pogues".

After a string of successful releases, his debut album "Twenty-First Century Times" was released in January 2023 - entering at number four in the rock charts. In January 2024 he achieved his first number one album with "Live at The Cavern Club" - topping the Singer-Songwriter Chart. This year also marks the start of his debut UK & Ireland tour.

Brought up on early rock and roll music and embodying the energy of his musical heroes, Elvis Presley and the Beatles, he began writing original songs at sixteen, inspired by the words of Bob Dylan and refining his craft in the clubs and pubs around his hometown relentlessly for over ten years.

With three years behind him as a resident artist at Liverpool's world famous Cavern Club, penning and producing the soundtracks to various films, army of followers and album two currently in the works, momentum is in full swing for 2024.
