At ten years old he was introduced to a local West Georgia music legend named Harl Baggett. That began the life-long pursuit of playing musical instruments. A multi-instrumentalist on guitar, banjo, mandolin, resonator guitar, bass, and harmonica. Joe's purist country/blues style, honest songwriting, sand-blasted satin voice, and Appalachian flavor have landed him on the same bill with acts like Doug Stone, Marty Raybon, Patty Loveless, Dr. Ralph Stanley, and more.... This is real country music....
