Nashville recording artist and songwriter Joe Michaels is best known for his raw pull no punches lyrics and his not afraid to get off the stage and party with the crowd attitude. Raised on the outlaws of country music, Michaels draws his inspiration from the classics of the 70s, 80s, and 90s as well as modern outlaws such as Jamie Johnson, Chris Stapleton, and Tyler Childers. These influences create a unique brand that blends old and new into a dark whiskey haze of stories and sound.
Beginning his musical pursuits after a successful career running his own chiropractic practice, Michaels relocated to Nashville from Colorado and has gone on to become an in-demand live performer, playing at numerous downtown venues and during CMA Music Fest and the Music City Grand Prix event.
Joe Michaels has previously released two singles, “Pain You Don’t Know” and “13 Folds,” and has just finished his debut four-song EP, Some Things Never Change. “The Boot” is the lead single from the new EP, which will be released in October.
