21 years old from Hampshire, Joe is a Progressive R&B guitarist studying his final year at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford at Level 6; during this time, he has been mentored and worked alongside Paul Geary (Nik Kershaw and Sister Sledge), Brian Henry (Soul II Soul and The Jackson 5) and Giorgio Serci (Yamaha and freelance guitarist). Joe has been featured on the BBC Music Introducing program and also enjoys playing blues, rock and 1970s funk, aside from producing his own material.
Over the 7 years he has been involved with music, Joe started to gain production skills using Propellerhead Reason starting at school, then heading to college where he produced and arranged his first EP (Trading Places) and eventually, university; along the way, Joe has picked up experience in using Logic Pro X and influences such as Tom Misch, Radiohead and Pink Floyd through his 6-year guitar playing.
A bedroom producer, Joe has released a trio of singles in 2021, including “Prosperity”, his first commercial release which made it on to BBC Music Introducing through Radio Solent and is currently working in and out of campus in Guildford on his first-ever album which showcases his technical, collaboration and self-production skills.
