Joe Savage

Joe Savage started playing guitar at age 25. Inspired by the likes of Hemingway, Kerouac and Jack London, Savage began traveling the U.S. and Europe while getting hooked on the works of Kris Kristofferson, John Prine, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Doors and Roger Miller. From 2008-2012, Joe primarily lived out of his backpack learning to write songs and play guitar while taking in the best scenery the western world has to offer. Joe returned to his hometown of Fort Worth in 2013 to pursue music as a career.

He began playing open mics, songwriting showcases and a few gigs a week around Fort Worth and Dallas, TX. Over the last 8 years Joe has played every local haunt there is, and even opened up for some big name regional and national acts along the way. His 2021 release "El Camino" is a collection of songs written while traveling in Spain and walking The Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile trek across the north of Spain.

In 2022 Joe hiked the North Camino de Santiago while releasing singles from his upcoming albums “Transcendental Railroad” & “Tiger In The Room”. Both these albums are slated to be released later in 2022.

Savage has shared the stage with notables like Charley Crockett, Leon Bridges, William Clark Green, Charlie Robinson, Summer Dean and Luke Wade.
