The Nigerian Afro-fusion genre singer, song writer and performing artist Joshua Usiwoma ( born 5th of April) professionally known with the name "Joejo” hails from the southern part of Nigeria, Delta State. He started music from his childhood days when he was in high school at the age of twelve in Edo state. He started by singing and performing covers of popular songs and then improved his skills gradually and started writing and performing his own songs from school shows to street carnivals, just to gain street credibility and love from people around him. He decided to take music as a career professionally after he was done with his tertiary education in the National Open University of Nigeria in Lagos State.
