Joel Whitaker is based in Brighton, originally from Yorkshire.
He is best known for playing bass in the band KEG but in the past has contributed guitar, bass and cello to the live and recording set up of Amy may Ellis, Spang Sisters and lazy h.
He has recently scored the music for the short documentary "Why my mum loves Russel Crowe" which received award nominations for best short doc at Cannes film festival 2023.
Rouge is his first solo release and showcases his ability as a multi instrumentalist and a producer.
