It is such a blessing to have a platform that has the potential to encourage, love, and come alongside others. My prayer is that the name of the Lord is magnified and that everyone who hears this song is encouraged, comforted, and pointed to Jesus. The song Contentment was inspired by the scripture Habakkuk 3:17-18. It states, "Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation." I pray that no matter the trials faced, that this song would help cultivate a spirit of praise and gratitude. That it would remind us of what He has done and give us hope that He remains a good and loving God no matter what circumstances we face.
