Since 2013 Joey Green and The RayVille Big Band has been wooing Austrian audiences with high energy performances at ORF Radio Kulturhaus, Reigen, Porgy & Bess, Casanova Music Club, Die Buehne and The Metropol. Vocalist Joey Green, originally from the USA spent nearly 20 years in Austria. In 2013, along with band leader, composer/arranger Alexander Lag, they founded the RayVille Big Band, intent on exploring and reintroducing the music of some of the 20th Centuries most influential, iconic artists, including Ray Charles, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Billy Joel & more recently, Gregg Allman!
Rayville is not a place, but rather a musical journey that connects the past to the future.
In January 2025, The RayVille Big Band will release a LIVE CD recorded in Vienna, Austria on September 24th , 2024.
These timeless "LIVE" renditions of some of the most popular classic big band titles ever created--performed with authenticity, passion and verve are now available for streaming on Spotify as well as many of your favorite streaming services.
