Joey Horvath is a Canadian singer-songwriter and humanitarian from Merritt, British Columbia. His brand of upbeat, energetic, guitar-driven rock and roll is both soulful and thought-provoking. His music comes from places travelled and a life lived. The essence of his songs evoke familiar snapshots of Western Canadiana: the saloon doors of a small-town hotel bar, burnt summer hillsides and the quiet of dusk falling over a remote northern truck stop or lakeside retreat. In louder frames are more urban sounds, driving guitars from the rust belt and even horn stabs reminiscent of E Street. Quieter moments hint at a kind of rum-soaked salvation stumbled upon on a tropical beach, far away from the familiar, but closer to the light. His main influences are The Rolling Stones, John Mellencamp, and Tom Petty. His debut album “Keep ‘er Rollin’" was released on October 12th, 2017.

When Joey is not writing and playing music he is focused on influencing leaders by investing in their lives in a way that inspires personal and social change. He is an avid world traveller who is passionate about people and social justice.
