Joey Kuntz is a singer-songwriter from Bakersfield, California. He got his start playing with a band called The Fillers, in which he was co-founder and front man for the group. Founded in 2007, his band toured the upper Midwest extensively. During his time with The Fillers, Kuntz honed his harmonica skills, which became his main instrument during those years.
He has continued writing and performing, playing mostly solo acoustic shows. He performs regularly in California’s central valley and hopes to continue “The Bakersfield Sound” legacy in his own special way. His recent releases offer us a glimpse at his upcoming album, in which he hones a true country sound, writing songs that match his surroundings and life experiences.
