Joey McCrilley

Birmingham’s own Joey McCrilley is becoming one of UK house's rising names. Debuting his production status with ‘Clubhopper’ on French label Paranoiak, Joey went on to play shows throughout the UK and Europe, gracing the DJ Mag VIP stage at Global Gathering.

He debuted a guest mix on BBC Radio 1Xtra, shortly after his production work soon caught the attention of major labels, landing him remixes for <a href="spotify:artist:35GL8Cu2GKTcHzKGi75xl5" data-name="Jennifer Hudson">Jennifer Hudson</a> (Sony Music), <a href="spotify:artist:0ukgrNYk51TkMQr0f2Br4Q" data-name="Maverick Sabre">Maverick Sabre</a> (Virgin Records) and <a href="spotify:artist:5vBSrE1xujD2FXYRarbAXc" data-name="Olly Alexander (Years &amp; Years)">Olly Alexander (Years &amp; Years)</a> (Universal Music), as well as a release on <a href="spotify:artist:2nuKjZLgc7II6FO4Rxjt5e" data-name="Blonde">Blonde</a>&#39;s own label Nightbeast Records. His music has hit No.1 on the Beatport House Top 100, and received support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and <a href="spotify:artist:1Cs0zKBU1kc0i8ypK3B9ai" data-name="David Guetta">David Guetta</a>.

Joey releases his EP <a href="spotify:album:00yPxfheRkqdcWcNud2tvR" data-name="Feel Good Tapes, Vol. 1">Feel Good Tapes, Vol. 1</a> in summer 2020. The first single ‘<a href="spotify:album:6UZKNHh4wTbff688eexzun" data-name="Eyes">Eyes</a>’ hit the top 5 on MusicWeek&#39;s Upfront Club Chart, and was playlisted on Kiss FM.

He remixed <a href="spotify:artist:0Qnx1MPnHYt3jJCYrRFVwX" data-name="Greyson Chance">Greyson Chance</a> for Sony Music, and <a href="spotify:artist:0LZYLSeAxzr71uR8WOf5UY" data-name="Origin8a &amp; Propa">Origin8a &amp; Propa</a>&#39;s &#39;Harmony&#39; for Universal Music.

His second EP <a href="spotify:album:3CTHyDxyvwwjEuWNElipIO" data-name="Feel Good Tapes, Vol. 2">Feel Good Tapes, Vol. 2</a> saw the release of new singles &#39;Come Together&#39; and &#39;Sun Comes Up&#39;, including remixes from TIEKS and Danny Rhys. He teamed up with Redondo on &#39;<a href="spotify:album:6RQD7ZjOa7yw8vA5gKXYby" data-name="Nothing">Nothing</a>&#39; (Spinnin&#39; Records).

Joey then released &#39;<a href="spotify:track:6vP2ZeYyJhnklTR42ldhD4" data-name="Close to You">Close to You</a>&#39; (with <a href="spotify:artist:4tKUuPctyFQus63BKH4JtG" data-name="Reigns">Reigns</a>) which was featured on UK show Love Island. His album <a href="spotify:album:3vUuICjSnYHriOUXRcKzhS" data-name="Feel Good Tapes">Feel Good Tapes</a> arrived in the summer.

After a flurry of releases, he’s bringing more in 2025, the first serving coming in early summer.
