JoeytheGAWD is a Los Angeles based producer and songwriter, originally from NY. In high school he had found a passion for music from banging on school tables with a pen and freestyling with friends, to later learning FL Studio through a demo.
Discovering this new talent, JoeytheGAWD connected with new friends whom he exchanged creative ideas with. A friend later introduced him to the DJ software TRAKTOR.
During college, JoeytheGAWD attended many parties in the Bronx, New York. Teaming up with well known Artist and promoter J-JON. They developed a following throwing large teenbash events and house parties. Dabbling into the music, they had created a unique sound of dancehall rap that later evolved to the genre “Bronx Whine”. Following the trend of a dance reaching millions of viewers JoeytheGAWD later produced a record named “C.O.P” for J-JON speaking on police brutality, which went viral and is still trending till this day.
During the years of sound searching, JoeytheGAWD had found interest in Electronic Dance Music, later meeting Producer/DJ Flip-One who had similar interest and talents. They went on to form duo “FlipN’Gawd” pioneering a genre “Jersey Terror” reaching the likes of “ Diplo, Skrillex, Afrojack and much more”.

Currently, JoeytheGAWD has branched his focus into his Dominican roots of Latin music. Now he is working on a major Dembow/House project with Rickstarr, which will release summer 2023 leading more exciting projects from JoeytheGAWD coming soon!
