Johannes Smed

Johannes Smed is a songwriter, sound artist, guitarist, producer, composer and experimentalist with experience that embraces most of the music scene. He has done everything from playing entertainment guitar for large audiences to engaging in obscure small sound experiments.
For example, he has:
• Played at festivals such as Roskilde, Skanderborg, Sølvbjørn Filmfestival in Berlin and others
• Been a producer on releases in many different genres, including Nanome (electronic), Vibeke Falden (electronic), Michael Hamilton (singer / songwriter), Mallebrok (Folk music)
• Part of the set-up for a large number of theater concerts - including ‘L.O.C’ at Århus Theater in collaboration with reumer-winning director and set designer Sargun Oshana and David Geerths.
• The work of creating sound art with the glass artist Marie Retpen and been hired as a sound artist by ARoS to interpret their exhibition with the American artist duo Jonah Freeman and Justin Lowe.
