The artist also known as John Alien is born in the southwest of Sweden. He had a deep interest in many kinds of music. As a teenager he started the journey making his own music on synthesizers; the first one was a used Kawai K1. In time, he tried more synths and one day he discovered Korg Kaossilator pro. The way to play was different and when the Push was released with Ableton, it become the base to play with some additional synths. The digital realm offered a lot, and sampling has been a frequent source of new sounds. Until today, he is mostly known from Loved By Aliens, the anime-synth project. Here as solo-artist, the sound currently is moving towards instrumental beats. Although, the first single was funky pop and just now an album out, he reflects on it; "I wanted to do a theme album. It's about places and countries that has shown spirit, and been in conflict in one way or another, coming out stronger from it. One could question how, and if conflict ever ends, yet still I be happy to make a track as a tribute."
