John Busse

John Busse is a guitarist, singer and songwriter from Somerville, NJ. Coming from a musical family, Busse played different instruments until discovering his freedom with the guitar. Then came the writing of songs and in 2010, began performing them. Busse is heavily influenced by musicians such as John Frusciante of Red Hot Chili Peppers fame, Shpongle, LCD Soundsystem, and Radiohead, while also combining the Classic Rock influences from Zeppelin, Floyd, Hendrix, the Dead and more. Busse’s musical approach is a blend between composition and improvisation, singing songs of existential love while shredding with his guitar. Busse’s current band is a 3 piece with John Gallagher on drums, and Ryan Bernero on bass.
