John is a Central Illinois USA based songwriter, guitarist, and performer. John has performed on and off since 1971 but only began releasing music in 2022. Multi-genre isn’t hip these days but that’s what he is. Americana, blues, rock, soul, reggae, country and rock’n’roll. His influences are the Chicago blues of the 1950s, Bakersfield country of the early 1960s, Memphis soul and Detroit R&B. And anything else that’s written well and performed with a vengeance. John performs solo and with a band, as often as he can, primarily in the Illinois, Missouri and Wisconsin areas.
