The creative talents of John Hughes and Jerry Nevils joined forces in early 2018 to form The BarKodes. John Hughes is a long time resident of Flagstaff, AZ and Jerry Nevils hails from Carrollton, KY which made for an unlikely collaboration. Through a twist of fate, they met in Flagstaff after Jerry and his wife became stranded in Arizona after encountering car trouble during their trip to visit the Grand Canyon.
In a few short months they have produced almost three albums worth of original and noteworthy compositions. Although Jerry has since returned to his home in Kentucky, the duo hopes to maintain a collaborative relationship and keep more great music coming out.
