John Josefsen, born in Norway in 1949 is a Norwegian sculptor and musician.
By making sculptures and be a musician, what is in between is making music instruments. The most of the instruments John play is made by himself. Most of them are string-instruments. Some other, like the harmonicas are modified. On his records John also play all the instruments by himself, except drums which is midi.

John live on a windy part of south-west Norway. There he also made some instruments which is called "Windharp" , stringed instruments which he put out in the wind and just let the wind play on it. It gives a fantastic sound. In concerts he use recording of that as a background and play on top of it. It can be heard on Spotify on "Symfoni for spade og vindharpe".
