John Keppler

I first started making music at the age of 13, when my parents bought me my first guitar. It was not the most expensive one, but it meant the world to me. I started a band named Clamor with my brother <a href="spotify:artist:04MexozOEmZDABaa3vVHHl" data-name="Bela Keppler">Bela Keppler</a> who at this time was 9 (!) years old. The band existed since 2011, with a few changes over the years until we paused/ended playing in 2019.

In 2017 I decided, that I wanted to do something on my own and started this solo project. It first started with my loop station. I tried different things and wrote songs I could perform live. I noticed, that i wanted to share my music with the world and so i started recording different instruments and vocals and produced my own songs. In 2018 I released my first single <a href="spotify:album:1juNfS95M0nPG0Qp5znmM7" data-name="Wine">Wine</a>, which described a perfect night I had back in school with my friends. The following year I played a few concerts and started writing new songs, while constantly improving my production skills.

By the end of 2019 the Band &#34;Return To Elephants&#34; was founded by my brother Bela, my friend Alex and me. First songs of that project will be released in 2021.

In July 2020 my 2nd single <a href="spotify:album:5Ax7iuYaWefCH70NGySguZ" data-name="Oak Tree">Oak Tree</a> a collaboration, was released. It was written, performed and produced by <a href="spotify:artist:04MexozOEmZDABaa3vVHHl" data-name="Bela Keppler">Bela Keppler</a> and me.

A few singles later the album <a href="spotify:album:25ZwsXUGXeG4i1TkZbNorb" data-name="Shadow in the Dark">Shadow in the Dark</a> was released in july 2021.
