John of Sound

This is the musical page of John Papadimitriou (a.k.a. John of Sound). John is a singer, sound healer, writer, multi-instrumentalist musician, &amp; author. Having played music since the age of 7, co-founding &amp; former lead singer of <a href="spotify:artist:3XE598oNhejt1JesKa4WQD" data-name="Mercury Messiah">Mercury Messiah</a> and now beginning his solo career in late 2023, Papadimitriou has finally released &#39;Happy Daze EP,&#39; his debut EP as an independent artist.

As a follower of a higher power, John blends ancient soundscapes with worldly instrumentation and modern electronic technology. Coming from a background in rock &amp; blues, his sound is exactly how his name suggests; all encompassing of the entire sonic spectrum.

In his new EP ‘Happy Daze’, John played many of the instruments himself, with the exception of a few notable ones. Joined by Montreal powerhouse <a href="spotify:artist:5W5lKCoa3JPAriG3SMI6K7" data-name="Old Soul">Old Soul</a> on various bass/drum/guitar/back vocals, &amp; his sister Maria Christina, the EP took on a new life of its own.

The ultimate goal of John is to lead people back into the knowing in their hearts through his music &amp; sound meditation by doing everything with love, intention, purity, and in gratitude towards the gift of life. “It is through our five primary senses that we are able to experience this reality, and sound is the medium I am here to share! To let people know they are not alone, that they have themselves, they have their love, their passion, &amp; their freedom.” -J
