John Panfili is a jazz pianist and film composer currently based in Glendale, Arizona. He believes in the art of creating stories and conveying emotion through music to picture. Currently, he is studying composition at Arizona State University. His collaborations on his music include Clarke Rigsby, Elyse Kunnari, Lexi Field, Dania Urena, and many more. He's scored ASU films such as Life in Full Bloom, Snaps, and Metamorphosis. In the Spring of 2024, he received the Zachary Booher Award for Best Music at the ASU film showcase. His music is described as "classic jazz mixed with orchestra and funk grooves". Later in life, he aspires to write music for films in LA and continue to write jazz and other styles of music on the side.
