Here, you will not find the perfectly polished music you are likely, accustomed to. In fact, some of these songs may make you cringe. However, many of these songs might make you smile, and some songs, dare I say, might make you cry. But these songs are all passages from the life and times of John Paul Sharp.
Sharp grew up lower middle-class and was involved in music to some degree most years of his life starting at age 6. It wasn’t until his early 20s that he figured out how to record music. The first several albums from his work were created with a very basic computer and possibly the most basic microphone available. Nearly everything you’ll hear in his discography was self created, self produced and self published.
Sharp earned a bachelor of science in contemporary vocal performance at the University of Colorado Denver in 2009. He has written and produced several independent works for stage and film.
